Social Dialogue

By identifying and studying sources of discrimination within the company, VINCI Construction Grands Projets is working toward an effective and well-integrated methodology for promoting employment and integration of employees with disabilities and for fostering equality in the workplace.

Employment conditions for personnel (assignments, transfers, etc.) are discussed on a monthly basis at meetings with employees representative bodies (employment commission). Important issues (diversity within the company, employment for people with disabilities, equal opportunity and compensation) are examined with our social partners in order to combat discrimination and foster equal opportunity.

Our executive management and our social partners have decided to enhance our employees’ purchasing power by offering profit-sharing compensation linked to collective performance levels. VINCI Construction Grands Projets pays profit shares tied to operations results. In 2009, this amount (based on 2008 end-of-year results) rose to €4.1 million.
