Materials manager
As the position’s name indicates, materials managers oversee all materials used on worksites. Materials managers provide consulting expertise to the different project stakeholders with an aim to optimize sites’ technical management and budget control. They organize the use of materials in accordance with worksite needs and ensure the maintenance of machinery. They also take part in investment planning and budgeting as well as decision-making regarding which technical options to adopt.
