New contract for the Assiut dam in Egypt
On 12 December 2011, VINCI Construction Grands Projets signed the contract for the design-build of the Assiut dam, in Egypt, with the Reservoirs and Grand Barrages Sector (RGBS), part of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. The works, valued at 266 million euros, will be carried out by a consortium composed, in equal parts, of VINCI Construction Grands Projets (leader), Arab Contractors and Orascom. The works will start on 2 May 2012 and should take a little over 5 years to complete (64 months).

Wangsa Tegap, a wholly owned subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation, has awarded VINCI Construction Grands Projets (70%, leader) and Hitachi (30%) a contract to build the first phase of the Berjaya Central Park residential and office complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The venture in Jamaica continues with a contract to rehabilitate the Mona and Hope Water Treatment Plants
On September 20, 2011, VINCI Construction Grands Projets signed a
$17.5-million contract to rehabilitate two water-treatment plants, Mona
and Hope, which provide drinking water to the eastern districts of
Jamaica’s capital city, Kingston.

Contract to build sewer systems in five cities in the Dominican Republic
VINCI Construction Grands Projets has signed a design-build contract
with INAPA (Instituto Nacional de Aguas Potables y Alcantarillados)
covering wastewater collection, transfer and treatment systems in the
cities of Monte Cristi, Neiba, Azua, San Jose de Ocoa and San Cristobal
in the Dominican Republic. This project is part of the Dominican
government's cholera eradication programme.

Contract to build two tunnels in the El Teniente mine, Chile
VINCI Construction Grands Projets (60%) and Soletanche Bachy (40%) have
been announced winners of the contract to design and build two tunnels
in Chile. The contract, awarded by Codelco, the country’s national copper company, is worth
$400 million.

New contract as part of the Lusail Light Rail Transit System project in Qata
QDVC, a Qatari subsidiary of Qatari Diar (51%) and VINCI Construction
Grands Projets (49%), has just won a contract for a further works phase
of the Light Rail Transit System (LRT) construction project in the new
city of Lusail, 15 km north of Doha, Qatar. The €374 million design-build contract covers civil engineering works in the eight underground stations, a viaduct across the motorway linking Doha with the northern part of the country and preliminary works on an LRT depot and maintenance workshop. The work is expected to take 38 months to complete.

Hydroplus is awarded a contract to optimize the Quipolly Dam in Australia
On June 22, 2011, Hydroplus Australia Pty signed a contract with
Liverpool Plains Shire Council (local government) to design, build, and
install fusegates on the Quipolly Dam, located in New South Wales,
approximately 300 km north of Sydney. The project will secure the dam
against floodwaters in compliance with Australian regulatory
requirements and increase storage capacity by over 2.8 million m3 (a
55% increase).

Contract for the new London express rail link - Crossrail
VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Bachy Soletanche Ltd (VINCI
Construction), members of the BBMV consortium along with Alpine Beton und Monierbau, Balfour Beatty
and Morgan Sindall, have won the €275 million contract (VINCI’s share: 36.7%) to
build the tunnels for the Liverpool Street and Whitechapel stations in London.

VINCI Construction Grands Projets signs a new RPE contract in Vietnam
On July 21, 2010, VINCI Construction Grands Projets (70%), in consortium with OTV (30%), a subsidiary of Veolia Eau, signed a new RPE contract (intergovernmental loan program with emerging economies) with the city of Thai Nguyen in northeastern Vietnam. The €6.2 million contract covers: design, supply, installation, and start-up for 9 wastewater pumping stations; 18 km of pipeline network; 5 km of teletransmission network; and supply of specialized maintenance equipment.

Contract to rehabilitate and extend a drinking water treatment plant in Sri Lanka
VINCI Construction Grands Projets (International Water Works department) has just signed an Emerging Countries Reserve (ECR) contract valued at €10 million that calls for the upgrade of the drinking water supply system for the city of Trincomalee in northeastern Sri Lanka. As a result of the upgrade, the Kantale plant will increase its daily drinking water treatment capacity from 36,500 m³ to 54,500 m³.

Signature of an agreement for the Ca Pass tunnel and road project in Vietnam
VINCI Construction Grands Projets has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the turnkey construction of the Ca Pass tunnel and road project in Vietnam. The signing took place in the presence of Mr Dominique Bussereau, France’s Secretary of State for Transport, and Mr Nguyen Hong Quan, Vietnam’s Minister of Construction.

QDVC is awarded the second phase of the light-rail system project at Lusail in Qatar
QDVC, the Qatari subsidiary of Qatari Diar (51%) and VINCI Construction Grands Projets (49%), was awarded the second phase of the project to build the Lusail light-rail transit (LRT) system, 15 km north of Doha. The contract, valued at €129 million, covers civil works of the cut-and-cover tunnels and the construction of pumping and ventilation shafts. This phase of the project will be completed in 23 months. The first phase, currently underway by QDVC, covers feasibility studies, design and earthworks.

New Hydroplus contract for the Foss Dam in the United States
On January 8, 2010, Hydroplus, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction Grands Projets, signed a €200,000 contract with the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority to upgrade Foss dam spillway. The scope of the works includes design and engineering of a Fusegate System and technical support. The Fusegate solution will bring the dam into compliance with the dam safety regulations in terms of discharging the design flood. This mimizes the amount of construction works and preserves the appearance of the structure. Foss Dam is located 35 kilometres west of Boston, Massachusetts.

Contract to upgrade drinking water supply and treatment in Jamaica
VINCI Construction Grands Projets was recently awarded the first phase of the contract to upgradedrinking water supply and treatment for the town of Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, by the NWC (National Water Commission). The contract is worth €51 million. The work involves laying 19 km of pipes and upgrading two water treatment stations. WMI, subsidiary of VINCI Construction Grands Projets, will be responsible for optimising management of the network.

for the rolling stock, has signed, at a ceremony attended by Prime
Minister François Fillon and the Vietnamese authorities, an

light rail line in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

New Hydroplus contract in Greece
Following Dafnozonara, Hydroplus has been awarded a second
upgrade contract in Greece, valued at €544,000. Signed on
September 9, 2009, this contract seeks to optimise the Kastraki
spillway, a hydroelectric dam belonging to the Public Power Corporation
(Greece’s EDF). It calls for the design and engineering of
the upgrade, as well as technical assistance for the project. Like
Dafnozonara, the Kastraki dam is located in western Greece, on the
Acheloos River. It is Greece’s second largest hydroelectric
dam currently in operation, after the Kremasta dam.

A second contract in Trinidad and Tobago
On July 28, 2009, VINCI Construction Grands Projets signed a contract worth $27.3 million with Trinidad and Tobago’s National Infrastructure Development Company (NIDCO) that calls for the design and construction of a composite bridge over the Churchill Roosevelt highway near the community of Aranguez on the island of Trinidad.

Contract for phase 2 of Cairo metro line 3
VINCI Construction Grands Projets, as consortium leader, has signed a
contract with Egypt’s National Authority for Tunnels (NAT)
for the civil engineering works package of Cairo’s metro line
3. The civil engineering contract,
worth €323 million, calls for building a 7.2 km section of
tunnel and four underground stations, which are scheduled for opening in October 2013 after 51 months of works. Eurovia Travaux Ferroviaires, a VINCI subsidiary, has been declared winner of the track contract, worth
€20 million. This package calls for supplying and laying 14 km
of track and power rail in the tunnel.

Contract to build a pumping station in Qatar
Through a consortium made up of subsidiaries VINCI Construction Grands
Projets (leader), Entrepose Contracting and QDVC (a Qatari subsidiary
owned 49% by VINCI Construction Grands Projets and 51% by Qatari Diar), VINCI has signed a contract with the Doha Public Works Authority, PWA Ashghal, to build a
pumping station to the north of Doha, capital of Qatar.

Hydroplus upgrades the Urrá dam in Colombia with Fusegates
On October 17, 2008, Hydroplus signed a turn-key (non civil
engineering) contract valued at €4 million with
Urrá E.S.P. to upgrade the Urrá dam in Colombia.
The Urrá hydro-electric facility, which is located in the
department of Córdoba in northwestern Colombia, features
four 85-MW turbines and has a total capacity of 340 MW. Fusegates will
bring about an increase in storage capacity and hydro-electric
production as well as better control over flood discharge without
altering the current infrastructure and without adversely impacting the
environment.

Contract to build control tower at new Tripoli airport in Libya
VINCI Construction Grands Projets (65%), in a consortium with Libyan
Development Company or Lidco (35%), signed a €55 million
contract on 13 November 2008 to build the control tower for the new
Tripoli airport. The contract covers civil engineering and all the
technical and architectural building trades (€42 million), as
well as airport infrastructure (€13 million). The work is
scheduled to take 18 months.

Exclusive agreement with Balfour Beatty for the construction of pressurised water reactors in the UK
VINCI, through its subsidiaries VINCI Construction Grands Projets and
VINCI Plc, has signed an exclusive agreement with Balfour Beatty, in
the form of a 50/50 joint venture to bid on upcoming tenders issued as part of the United Kingdom’s
programme to build next generation nuclear power plants. As the UK is
the first European country to launch massively into the construction of these new power stations, ten pressurised
water reactors (PWR) could be built.

VINCI wins a tunnel construction contract in the United States
VINCI Construction Grands Projets, leader (65 %) of a joint-venture
with the American contractor Frontier-Kemper Constructors Inc. (35 %), recently signed a
contract with the City of Detroit (Detroit Water and Sewerage Department) to build a tunnel for
carrying treated wastewater from the city for discharge into the Detroit river.

Contract for the Liefkenshoek rail link at Antwerp
On November 5, 2008, VINCI Construction Grands Projets (25%) in a
consortium with MBG (25%), subsidiary of CFE, CEI-De Meyer and Wayss
& Freytag, signed a contract worth €680 million for
the Liefkenshoek rail link. This four-and-a-half-year project calls for
the design and construction of a dual railway infrastructure 16.2 km
long, connecting the north and south shores of the port of Antwerp in
Belgium, for the transportation of merchandise by train. The new
infrastructure will relieve traffic congestion around the port, which
is undergoing substantial expansion in its merchandise-transportation
activities.

Two new contracts for Hydroplus
The first contract, signed on July 24, 2008, calls for the design,
manufacture, and transportation of eight Fusegates and includes
technical assistance during the installation process on the
Goéland dam in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. The second
contract, signed on August 7, 2008, calls for the design of nine steel
Fusegates and technical assistance for the Dafnozonara hydroelectric
dam in western Greece. This is the first project for Hydroplus in
Greece!

New RPE contract in Vung Tau
On May 24, 2008, a joint venture consisting of VINCI Construction
Grands Projets (20%) and OTV (80%), a subsidiary of Veolia Eau, signed
a new RPE contract Vung Tau, southern Vietnam (RPE refers to an
intergovernmental loan program with emerging economies). The contract,
valued at €15 million, calls for the installation of a
waste-water-treatment system (which is the part of the mandate assigned
to VINCI Construction Grands Projets) and the building of seven pumping
stations and one water-treatment plant.

Signature of the contract for the world’s longest bridge between Qatar and Bahrain
On May 6, 2008, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, lead contractor of a
consortium of construction companies, and Middle East Dredging Company
(also known as Medco and a subsidiary of CFE, VINCI Group) signed a $3-billion design-build contract with the Qatar-Bahrain Causeway
Foundation for a bridge connecting Qatar and Bahrain.

Launch of the study phase for a hotel-construction project in the Seychelles
QDVC, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction Grands Projets (49%) and of
Qatari Diar (51%), has won a 9-month contract to carry out an initial
feasibility study and produce a costing estimate for the construction
of a hotel complex located on the island of Mahé, the
largest island in the Seychelles and home to the tallest peak in the
archipelago.

Record height for Hydroplus fusegates
Following a study that revealed the Canton dam’s
insufficient flood-discharge capacity, plans were made to build a new
emergency spillway to provide adequate flood protectionthat the
spillway at the Canton dam was inadequate for flood discharge, a new
emergency spillway had to be built. To that endaccomplish this mission,
9 fusegates, at each one 9.14 metres high –
the tallest ever built anywhere in the world –, will be installed on the existing dam. As a result, the dam’s
total discharge capacity will rise from 9,900 m3/sec to 18,000 m3/sec.
